Once a customer accepts an estimate for service, ordering and shipping procedures go into effect and cannot be rescinded. Therefore upon cancellation by the customer, the customer incurs costs for shipping, handling, return and restocking fees. A deposit is required when ordering parts that are special ordered, or having a value over $100. An estimate for repairs shall be given to the customer by the servicer in writing, and the servicer may not charge for the work done or parts supplied in excess of the estimate without prior consent of the customer. Where provided in writing, the service dealer may charge a reasonable fee for services provided in determining the nature of the malfunction in preparation of a written estimate for repair.
Unless otherwise noted, parts and their related labor are warranted for 90 and 30 days, respectively, under conditions of normal household usage. Refrigerant charges are excluded from warranty. Except as provided above, there is no warranty or guarantee of sutability or fitness for a particular purpose of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee any parts not supplied or installed by us. If repairs become necessary because of other defective parts, they will be charged separately. Warranty applies to services performed during normal business hours and within our service area. We do not guarantee against loss of food or clothing.
In spite of great care taken by the technician, damage to floors, walls, cabinets and the appliance can occur while equipment is being moved for service. Hidden damage often makes itself known whenever long-undisturbed corroded, siezed, cracked, or disconnected supply lines, valves, connections, hoses or other parts are moved. In order to secure service, the customer hereby releases Coastal Appliances Inc, and it's technicians from all liability for any such damage arising out of such actions.
We want you to be satisfied. If for any reason, you are not satisfied with the service you receive and cannot resolve the dispute with the technician, please describe in writing the problem and what you would like done. Any appliance or parts left in our posession after 60 days from the invoice date will be disposed of.
